Default Are there any BMX riders here?

I am thinking about buying a BMX Bike but I’m kind of tall. I am 6’0 and about 240lbs. I will probably be riding on the street and dirt and trying some ramps and jumps. Do you guys know of any bikes that are for taller people? In addition, I don’t really want to spend more than $300.00.

I am more of a watcher when comes to BMX riding. I have a friend that's 6'5 and 265lbs. He has a DK General Lee 24". I think it's a great bike for taller people.

You can check it out here:

Yeah, it's a nice looking bike and it's a reasonable price. I will probably buy this one if I don't find anything better. Thanks for the suggestion!

I still think of kids and BMX. Wasn't that huge a few years ago? Neighborhoods abounding with overprotected, reckless wild kids. Maybe it was a good thing they were overprotected if my memory is true. Have they grown up now?

No, I think that BMX riding is still popular. There are some guys that have made a career out of BMX riding.

I think you talking about skating boarding. LOL! I think you should try it before you knock it.
